Come with us and know more about ACNUR!

On May 16, ACNUR will be present at the Las Mercedes Business Park to inform all those interested about their work in an information stand that will be located next to the tent.

DO YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT ACNUR?

His work consists of three points:

Show the reality of the refugees, beyond the figures shown by the media, so that the recipient understands the real situation of a refugee who had to flee, leaving home, from one day to the next, with absolutely nothing , and with the sole purpose of saving your life.

Show the work that ACNUR performs in the field, from immediate action in an emergency, where the priority is to reduce mortality, to long-term operations to guarantee victims access to everything necessary to lead a dignified life and leave ahead.

Transmit the importance of aid to the refugee and the importance of the regular partners for the implementation of the ACNUR assistance programs.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM YOUR COLLABORATION?

The association with an NGO supported by its status as a collaborator with a United Nations Agency.

That the teams are composed of promoters of partners recruited and trained by the F2F department within the Spanish Committee of ACNUR.

That the department responds to any eventuality or incident and that there is always a responsible of the equipment available for the permit.

WHAT IS YOUR ACTIVITY IN OUR PARK?

With the implementation of this stand in our park, ACNUR is launching a tool to show how the daily work of your organization is on the ground, how a refugee camp is inside and try to transmit what a person who is running away lives the force through the Virtual Reality. Through Virtual Reality Glasses connected to a mobile device that allow the person who takes them to stand for a few minutes in the skin of a refugee. In this link you can see a 360º immersive video of the arrival in the Azraq refugee camp in Jordan.
